Our Services

Carpet Cleaning & Hard Surface Floor Cleaning

Professional Tile and Grout Cleaning We all know how hard it is to clean grout between our tiles. Why is this? Because when we mop our tiles our mop picks up the dirt off the tile surface which is moved along the floor with your mop, over the grout lines and across the tiles. We all know what our mop water looks like when we are done, and this is the water that remains in our grout lines, with dirt trapped in it and left to dry. Unless you are extracting the dirty water as you clean, you really can’t help but end up with dirty grout. Who has been on their hands and knees trying to clean their grout with a toothbrush? There is a better way! How can Our Helping Hands Cleaning Specialists help you with this? With the specialised training we have we can identify your tile type and select appropriate chemicals to assist us with suspending your dirt and grime so we can remove it easily. We have a special truck mounted machine that generates high pressure with hot water along with very powerful suction which enables us to blast your tiles and grout clean and extract it as we go, leaving your tiles and grout as clean as possible. What results can you expect to see? Call us today and we will arrange a free no obligation onsite demonstration to show you exactly what result you can expect to achieve with our services.

Why should I steam clean my carpets?

Your carpets add warmth and a sense of comfort to your home, however your carpet is designed to be like a giant filter. It traps dirt, dust, allergens and bacteria and improves indoor air quality by stopping these particles from becoming airborne. Vacuum cleaning removes the surface dirt, as does dry cleaning. However to remove the bacteria and soil trapped deep within the pile, you need professional carpet steam cleaning. Steam cleaning is probably the best deep-cleaning method you can use on your carpets because as it combines hot water with carefully selected chemicals, it cleans much more than just the surface of your carpet, and the high pressure spray helps jostle difficult-to- remove particles loose. Hot water extraction (steam cleaning) injects a blast of hot water deep into the carpet pile and then extracts it along with all the dirt and debris along with bacteria and toxins. This method of cleaning uses both heat and suction to wash and remove dirt. It is much like washing your clothes or your hair and gives a much better result than just wiping over the surface. Most carpet manufacturers recommend hot water extraction over dry cleaning and in fact some warranties insist upon it. A professional steam cleaner will use the best equipment to ensure your carpet is not only thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, but also quick drying. Non-professional steam cleaners often cut corners by using inferior carpet cleaning machines and techniques. Without the proper tools for the job and the right training and experience, carpet can be left soggy and take days to dry. Our Helping Hands Cleaning Specialists start our cleaning process off by using a high quality pre spray chemical with a high pressure delivery system, which means we use the least amount of chemical to begin with. Our truck mounted carpet cleaning machine generates its own heat so we can heat the water to the desired temperature for maximum results, then deliver it using very high pressure to again ensure minimum water is required. Our machine also has extremely strong suction to remove the maximum amount of moisture possible to speed up evaporation and drying times. This is extremely important as carpets which are left over wet, can become breeding grounds for mould and bacteria which in turn will have serious health implications. Mould is an allergen which affects the respiratory system and not something you want in your home. Over wet carpets can discolour and produce odour. The smaller DIY carpet cleaning machines you can hire do not have very strong suction or high heat and can lead to some of these issues. Whilst cleaning we add an acid to the rinse water. This acid rinse removes all traces of chemical residue. It is important to do this to stop rapid re soiling, but also to remove the cleaning detergent from the carpet to ensure nothing is left behind. This leaves your carpets feeling soft and fresh again, similar to using fabric softener when washing clothes. We complete our process by using a specially formulated sanitiser and/or deodoriser suitable for carpets, depending on your individual requirements. .

Steam Cleaning has the best results.

Other methods can also be introduced during our process should your carpets require some extra attention. This is where the expertise and training becomes very important in order to achieve the best results. Not all carpets or condition of carpets are the same which is why we prefer to offer an onsite quote rather than quoting over the phone, so we can tailor our quote and methods to suit your specific situation.
